Fabric Information

POLYURETHANE LAMINATE (PUL): All of our PUL fabrics have been 2 mil laminated. There is a difference in softness and flexibility based on the type and thickness of the fabric that was used. The solid colors are 100% polyester knits, and are the softest and most flexible. They withstand machine washing and drying the best and will not show wear. The printed knits and wovens are most often 100% cotton or cotton blend. These are fabrics I've purchased and sent to the laminator to have PUL applied to the back. These fabrics may feel stiff at first but will soften up after washings.

SUEDECLOTH: Suedecloth is used for the inner of pocket diapers and AIO's. It wicks away moisture from baby's bottom. It does not have the stretch and cushy feel that you get with fleece, but it will not pill or fade and resists staining.

MALDEN MILLS FLEECE: Currently the "creme de le creme" of fleece in the diapering community. MICROFLEECE: used for inners of diapers-great for wicking away moisture and providing a cushy feel for baby's tushie!, MICROCHAMOIS-same as microfleece with a more "suede like" feel on the surface. WINDPRO-used for outer's of diapers and covers-keeps moisture in. Comes in different weights. Med. and Heavy weights you can use 1 layer. Lightweight-1-2 layers (personal preference). Since I live near the Malden Mills factory I do take special requests. If you are looking for something I do not have please feel free to contact me.

If you would like to order a sample pack of fabrics, that can be ordered in the PUL section of website.
